About Me

My name is Elder Aaron Peterson and I am a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I was born and raised in New Hampshire.  I am the youngest of 8 Children from a very close knit family.

During high school I was very active on a US First Robotics team where I learned to love engineering.  I went on splits with the missionaries and participated in temple baptisms whenever I could.  I graduated from High School in June of 2014 and got my mission call shortly thereafter.  I have had the opportunity to travel to Europe twice.  My oldest sister took my sister and I to visit early in 2013 and then for her wedding June of 2014 in Koksijde, Belgium.  After the wedding, two of my sisters and a cousin traveled to France, Italy, and the UK.

I spent the rest of the summer working full-time and saving for my mission.

I am very excited to have a chance to focus wholeheartedly on serving the Lord while bringing the message of the restored gospel and blessing the lives of the people of France.

After my mission I plan on attending BYU and pursuing a degree in Engineering.

About My Family:

My Dad is a Technology turnaround consultant and Radio host, he and my oldest brother work together to help companies manage their technology.  My Mom produces my dads radio show and homeschooled all of us.  My oldest sister is married and sails worldwide as a Chief Mate on a Liquified Natural Gas Regassification Tanker.  Her husband also sails as a First Engineer for the same company.  My other sister has her MBA and is a Bank Manager for TD Bank and her husband works for Verizon. They have one little girl.  Another sister is a Customer Service Representative for a Regional Beverage Distributor and is working on getting her real estate license.  She has one daughter.  My brother is a Midshipman at the US Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point where he is pursuing his degree in Systems Engineering with a specialization in Offshore LNG Production. My twin sisters are earning money for college and are both on management tracks for retail companies, Levi Strauss and Ann Taylor Loft.

We have a small farm with 100 chickens, 3 horses, a rabbit and a cat.

  1. Hey Aaron. Hope you are enjoying France! Dude I miss you, build season is not the same without you or Conner for that matter. And no one has taken up the role of playing music from his iPad stuffed in his shirt ;). The game this year is weird. There is a barrier in the middle of the field so there is no defense and bumpers r optional. And there is a million ways to score but it generally involves stacking totes (just like the ones we got the Kit of Parts in) and place plastic garbage cans on them. Praying for you. -Kaileb
